19th Northwest Guitar Festival
Nelson, British Columbia
April 16-18, 2009
A fantastic 3 day event held this year in Southeastern BC in the idyllic mountain community of Nelson. The Festival features concerts, classes and an internationally recognized guitar competition.
Afternoons and evenings at the Capitol Theatre:
April 16 7:30pm -Celso Machado
April 17 7:30pm Michael Partington
April 18 7:30pm The Montreal Guitar Trio
$20 general $15 students/seniors
Competition semi-finals and finals take place Thursday and Saturday afternoon.
Friday afternoon features a concert by Silk Road Music w/Andre Thibault and Qiu Xa He and a Brazilian music workshop given by Celso Machado
